Thousands of students across the country walked of class on November 2nd to protest Bush's war on Iraq, military recruitment in schools, and to demand money for jobs and education, not war. Today, Youth Against War & Racism (YAWR) mobilized high school & even middle school! students to walk out of school in protest of this racist war.

Side note: Usually we get lucky with the weather - but today it rained - hard and cold. Yet STILL this many people turned out!!!

6 students were arrested, ticketed and released in front of the Army Recruiting Center which became the new location, since original plans were foiled by the rain.
